Game: Indianapolis Colts (3-1) at Cleveland Browns (3-1)

Summary: The Cleveland Browns come into this Week 5 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts riding a three-game winning streak. However, the Colts are on a three-game winning streak themselves. This game could have large playoff ramifications. Both teams should figure to be in the mix at the end of the regular season, and this game could prove to be a deciding factor if a tie-breaker is needed.

The Colts boast a tough and stingy defense that leads the league is scoring defense, giving up only 14 points per game. The Browns offense will have their work cut out for them. The Colts have excellent personnel and are well-coached on that side of the ball. The chess match between head coach Kevin Stefanski and Colts’ defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus will be one to watch.

Offensively, expect the Browns to return to earth a little against the Colts. With Nick Chubb sidelined, Kareem Hunt will get his opportunity to be the feature back. Hunt will respond with a monster game with close to 150 total yards and multiple touchdowns. Baker Mayfield should once again have less than 25 pass attempts and around 200 yards passing. The Browns will put up 30-plus points for the fourth game in a row.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Browns are on the struggle bus. Luckily the Colts are a run-first team, which plays into one of the Browns’ defense few strengths. Colt’s quarterback Phillip Rivers is as grizzled as a veteran could possibly be, and he will pick up third downs and extend drives. However, those same traits that Rivers plays with will allow for opportunities for the Browns defensive backs to snag some interceptions. The Browns will need to play with a break but don’t bend mentality and take advantage of the opportunities that Rivers will inevitably give them.

4-1! Here we come baby!
