The Jacksonville Jaguars are in a full rebuild mode and are trying to do nothing more than tank for Trevor Lawrence. The best way to do that? Continue to trade away any valuable assets you have and acquire more draft picks to help build around whatever future quarterback you select.

Wide receiver Keelan Cole is likely the most valuable offensive asset on the Jaguars, and as a position of need for Cleveland, could be someone the Browns inquire about leading up to the trade deadline.

Cole isn’t necessarily a flashy receiver, or even one that many would consider worth trading for. But depth is an important part of an NFL team, and the Browns could trade a late-round pick for Cole. It would help ease the pressure that has been thrust on the rest of the Browns receivers by having one more guy they can lean on if they need it.

Daniel Sorensen was the star of the Kansas City Chiefs defense during their Super Bowl run last season, and is an inexpensive option for the Cleveland Browns to consider to improve their secondary.

Andrew Sendejo has been a liability at the safety position, and while it’s not entirely his fault, as he was meant to be more of a team leader than an every-down player for this defense.

Sorensen could be both a leader and a role player for this young defense. With a remaining salary of less than $2 million dollars this season, it may make sense to reach out and see if a late-round pick will be enough to snag the veteran safety.

Scouting Report. Las Vegas Raiders. CarlNassib. player. Pick Analysis. EDGE. DE. 28

Carl Nassib was cut by the Cleveland Browns in his second year in the league. While that was under a previous general manager, it’s still rare for someone cut so recently to return to their former team.

Nassib was signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following his release in 2018, and had a very successful season, tallying 12 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks, both career highs.

It was an unpopular decision at the time to cut him, and his successful 2018 campaign proved he may have deserved a chance to play a role on the Browns defensive line. With the Raiders having an abundance of talent on their defensive line, they may be willing to send Carl Nassib back to Cleveland for the right price.
