4. Another pick-six is coming

There were a couple of emotional swings early on in the Week 11 game as the Browns started things out by punting the ball on a three-and-out. Then, their defense was gashed to the tune of 71 yards on 10 plays, but they were bailed out when the Eagles fumbled the ball near the goal line.

Cleveland responded by moving it 95 yards on 13 plays, but then they failed to score. They thought they had done so, but a touchdown run from Kareem Hunt on fourth-down was reversed, and the Eagles took over possession. That’s when the defense made the momentum-swinging play that set the tone.

On the fifth play of the second Eagles’ drive, linebacker Sione Takitaki recorded his first career interception and took it back 50 yards for a touchdown. Cleveland took the 7-0 lead but more importantly, it allowed the defense to feel confident they could handle whatever came their way in this one.

Now, they face the Jaguars in Week 12 and the defense should again have plenty of opportunities. Jacksonville is coming off a game that saw quarterback Jake Luton throw four picks, and while there’s a chance Gardner Minshew could return, it won’t matter. Neither signal-caller should scare the Browns and this prediction is that someone on that defense gets another touchdown on a pick-six.
