2. Mayfield continues recovery

After a three-week lull during some severe weather in Cleveland, Ohio, Mayfield has been spectacular the last two weeks vs the Jaguars and Titans, not to mention he has the team on a four-game winning streak. The weather was better, and Mayfield is a combined 44-of-62 for a 71 percent completion percentage with 592 passing yards, six touchdowns, and zero interceptions.

These are the stats the Browns consistently need to show that he is the face of the franchise. Things won’t get easier for Mayfield in Week 14 as the Ravens travel to Cleveland for Monday night football. With a likely win vs. the Cowboys on a rare Tuesday night game in Week 13, a win will be pivotal for the Ravens to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Look for Mayfield to take the success the last two weeks and double down for another tremendous performance in a prime-time game where he first shined vs. the New York Jets in his first career game and win.

The Browns will continue to run the ball, that’s just who they are. But after the last two weeks and a huge game, look for Stefanski to throw a few wrinkles in the game plan which includes more throwing for Mayfield. Baltimore’s pass defense is great, but with them loading the box to stop Hunt and Chubb expect Mayfield to eclipse 300 yards again and an additional 3 passing touchdowns. Browns fans are already on top of the world, and a performance like this will have the town singing and dancing for joy.
