No. 2 The Businessman

Running backs are not really known for their touchdown celebrations. Unlike offensive linemen, running backs have been there before and they will be there again. This is especially true of running back Nick Chubb.

All-time great running back Barry Sanders set the standard for touchdown celebrations by simply handing the ball to the official and walking off. His theory? Act like you have been there before. It’s your job to score touchdowns so why get excited when it happens. He was just taking care of his business. I call this celebration The Businessman.

With 0:58 seconds remaining in the second quarter, Nick Chubb jumps over a pile and into the end zone. It was the fifth Browns touchdown of the game. At that point, they were up 38-7 on the Titans.

A lesser player may have made a big deal out of the score. Not Nick Chubb. This is a man who ran out of bounds on the one-yard line avoiding a touchdown to end the game. He is all about his team and doing his job. His job is to score touchdowns.

His celebration? The Businessman. He scores the touchdown. He gets up. He runs off the field. He perfectly represented his position, his role on the team, and exactly how he plays the game. He runs the ball and scores touchdowns.

He has been here before. He will be there again. Therefore, he can act like it. The businessman is a perfect Nick Chubb celebration.
