2. Mayfield stays hot

While the Giant’s defense is solid, their secondary was depleted on Sunday night. But that doesn’t take anything away from Baker Mayfield’s performance of which he completed over 84 percent of his passes along with 297 yards and two touchdowns. His stat line could have been even better, but the defense was so good Stefanski was content running the ball and punting them deep in their own territory in a few scenarios.

In Mayfield’s last four games he has completed over 70 percent of his passes for 1,232 yards, 10 touchdowns, and only one interception. Keep in mind, this includes two games vs. the Ravens and Titans who will be feared teams in the playoffs this year.

Mayfield did hit a rough patch this season when the weather was terrible but since has looked like a franchise quarterback who is in perfect sync with his offensive coordinator. Don’t expect this game vs. the Jets to be any different. Stefanski will continue to run the football, but Mayfield will have his chances to do some damage as well.

Mayfield will shine again in New York, with a 70 percent completion percentage, 300 yards, two touchdowns, and once again zero interceptions. Mayfield will have all the momentum in the world heading into their final home game vs. the Steelers who have been his kryptonite early in his career.
