Tedric Thompson, S

Tedric Thompson was the Seattle Seahawks’ fourth round pick in the 2017 draft. The Cleveland Browns acquired him by grabbing him off of waivers from the Kansas City Chiefs. Thompson has yet to play a game for Cleveland, and likely won’t see time in the week 17 matchup against the Steelers.

Turning 26 in January, Thompson hasn’t shown the franchise any reason to keep him around so far on the field, but could be an interesting player to bring in to camp in 2021 to compete for a backup role.

Taywan Taylor, WR

Taywan Taylor is the most confusing player on this list. The former third round pick in the 2017 NFL draft by the Titans had a pretty productive first two seasons for them. He showed signs of improvement from year one to year two, and then John Dorsey and the Cleveland Browns traded for him. After that, he hasn’t had another catch in the NFL.

Taylor has appeared in six games for the Browns over the past two seasons, and has been targeted twice, not catching either of them. I’m starting to think that it would be best for both parties to move on, as Taylor has not been able to catch on in Cleveland, but could be productive somewhere else.
