Kendall Lamm, OT
One of my personal favorite players on the Cleveland Browns, Kendall Lamm has been a valuable backup for the franchise these past two seasons. Lamm hasn’t seen much action on the field, as is the life of a backup offensive lineman, but has played well when he has had the opportunity.
He seems to be the backup left tackle for the Cleveland Browns, while Chris Hubbard seems to be the backup for the other four spots on the offensive line. Lamm is really a 50-50 case when it comes to his possibility of signing an extension with the Browns. Lamm isn’t really too valuable to what the team does, as he has only played in limited offensive snaps this season, but his contract is still team-friendly.
Currently playing on the last year of a two-year, $4.5 million contract, Lamm won’t be an expensive person to bring back. He could possibly get a pay raise from another team, but other than that, it could make sense to bring him back in 2021. He turns 29 next season, so it really breaks down to if the Browns are able to find a younger, cheaper option to take his spot through the back end of the draft or in free agency.
Personally, I’d be down to see Lamm stick around in a Browns jersey for a while, hopefully, he can get a few more big man touchdowns over that duration, too.
