1. Week 13 at Tennessee Titans

The Titans came to Cleveland in Week 1 of 2019 and beat the snot out of the Browns. Mayfield had a bad game and that set the tone for the rest of the season. With Derrick Henry running over everyone in 2020, no one gave the Browns much of a chance in this game.

By halftime, everyone was stunned, as the Browns flat-out dominated, leading 38-7. Cleveland took its foot off the accelerator in the second half, but still led 41-21 with under 90 seconds to play,

Mayfield finished 25-33 for 334 yards and four touchdowns, all of which came in the first half. He lit up the Tennessee secondary, again keeping the ball out of harm’s way while being aggressive, decisive, and accurate.

Had he been allowed to continue in the second half, who knows what kind of a stat line he would have finished with. This was the game that proved to the doubters that Mayfield and the Browns were for real, and the rest of the AFC was officially on notice.

Next. Another claim Browns will move on from Baker with loss surfaces. dark

It took only one half, but this was the best game of Mayfield’s NFL career, and again showed that his ceiling was higher than initially thought. Mayfield’s best is as good as anyone in the NFL today, and he showed it against the Titans.
