1. Allen Robinson, wide receiver

If the Cleveland Browns really want to shore up their offense, especially their wide receiver position, they should look no further than Allen Robinson. The talented wideout has spent the last three seasons with Chicago, and while the team and he have reportedly working on a contract extension all year, the two sides have not been close to an agreement at any point so far.

Robinson began his career in Jacksonville, and after a successful few years, was let walk in free agency following a knee injury in 2017 that ended his season after just one game. Robinson jumped back into the spotlight and proved himself to be a consistent and talented receiver in Chicago, even though the Bears offense as a whole had its struggles the last several years.

The veteran pass-catcher has the skillset to do a little bit of everything for the Cleveland Browns, should they decide he is worth targeting and signing. He has the speed to stretch the field vertically, something the Browns currently do not have on their wide receiver position. Robinson also has the ability to run any route and can outjump just about any defender in the league, making it easier to throw it up to him in coverage and have him come away with the reception.

Allen Robinson could enter Cleveland and be the true number one receiver they have been looking for. While Odell Beckham Jr. was intended to be that option, the lack of chemistry between him and Baker Mayfield makes it hard to see that connection lasting in Cleveland for too much longer.

Robinson could fill the void left by Beckham, and given the appropriate time to work with both head coach Kevin Stefanski and his new quarterback in Mayfield, could raise the bar for the Cleveland Browns wide receiving corps in 2021 and beyond.
