The Cleveland Browns made significant strides in 2020, especially on offense. While there aren’t too many holes to fill, here are three offensive players the Browns could add via free agency to take another step forward.

The Cleveland Browns made a remarkable turnaround, and in the span of only one year went from a team that looks disorganized and mismanaged to a team with a bright future ahead of it.

First-year head coach Kevin Stefanski replaced former head coach Freddie Kitchens, and worked to make the offense flow better, focusing on the strengths of the players on his team, while also incorporating his system into the fold.

Because of these changes, the Browns offense went from looking like 11 guys running around playing backyard football to being one of the best offenses in the NFL. With another year in the system for the current players, as well as a few additions in some key areas, the Cleveland Browns offense could take another step forward in 2021. Here are three offensive players they could look to target in free agency to bolster their roster.

3. Kelvin Beachum, Offensive Tackle

Kelvin Beachum might be 31, but he is coming off an impressive season with the Arizona Cardinals after an injury-riddled 2019 with the New York Jets. Now, just one year after receiving a one-year, prove-it deal with the Cardinals, Beachum could be in for a small bump in pay in free agency this upcoming offseason.

While the Cleveland Browns are pretty solid on the offensive line, adding Beachum as a swing tackle could be something worth considering. While backups such as Kendall Lamm did well in spots in 2020, adding someone with the experience that Beachum has could really bolster an already solid position group.

Kelvin Beachum could fill in for any potential injuries, as well as provide solid run blocking support on jumbo packages when reporting as an eligible receiver. While nobody ever hopes for an injury, the Browns would be smart to have a backup plan in place in case one of their starting tackles does get injured. Beachum would be a solid addition to help solidify the offensive line, as well as provide a mentor to the young left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr.
