No. 2: Dede Westbrook

Why would the Browns need a receiver when their receiver room is so loaded?

While Cleveland currently sits on a pretty solid receiving core, there is absolutely uncertainty surrounding a few guys and their futures in Cleveland. One of those guys? Star Odell Beckham Jr.

Unfortunately, Beckham Jr is not untouchable. While Baker Mayfield and Beckham Jr. got into a groove before the ACL tear for Beckham Jr, the Browns also proved they can win without him this season. One thing is clear, however; OBJ makes the Browns better.

Even if the Browns were to keep him, it is pretty clear that they still need a speedy receiver that can stretch the field vertically at any given time. Dede Westbrook could absolutely be that guy.

Westbrook too will be coming off an ACL tear, as he went down at the beginning of the 2020-20201 season. Westbrook is not new to the league, however. He had his best season in 2018 when he caught 66 passes for 717 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Back at his Pro-Day, Westbrook ran a smooth 4.34 40-yard dash. Getting a guy like Westbrook who can line up in the slot in the middle of those already solid Browns receivers is going to be deadly and it should be a priority this off-season for Andrew Berry and company.
