Quincy Roche – EDGE Rusher, Miami University
One position the Browns need to upgrade is defensive end. Myles Garrett is as good of a pass-rusher as the NFL has to offer, and a strong partner in crime on the other side will only help.
Look for general manager Andrew Berry to spend money at this position in free agency, but to also draft a guy that will get some reps in 2021 when guys need breaks.
After a strong week at the senior bowl, Quincy Roche could be the perfect fit for the Browns in the later rounds. At 6 foot 3 and 245-pounds, Roche has proven he can be more than just a bull-rusher. In one particular drill, Roche quickly handled Alex Leatherwood (offensive tackle, Alabama) and had scouts buzzing.

Roche is still a raw talent and would need time to develop, but that is even more of a reason he is the perfect fit in Cleveland. He would get the opportunity to use his high motor but would also have a year to learn the system and continue to improve his skillset before having to start or have a major role in the defense.
If Roche would run well at the combine, he could easily improve his stock to the fourth or early fifth-round, but at this time he appears to be pegged in the back half of round five or early in round-six. The Browns could get a steal if Roche is around and he can contribute anything in 2021.
Anytime you can get production from a pick in the fifth round or later, you’re winning in the NFL.
