Which free agents from the AFC South should the Cleveland Browns be interested in?

If you’re still here after the first two installments, thank you, I’m glad you’re here! If you’re new, welcome to the Pick-A-Player series! This series is where I look at the available free agents from each team in a division, in this case, the AFC South to add to the Cleveland Browns roster.

My name is Nick Swanson and I’m the assistant to Andrew Berry in this scenario. My job is to pick out a single player from each team for the Browns to sign in order to have the miracle season that we’re all hoping for, a Super Bowl win or at the very least an appearance.

As for the eligible players, for each team, they are those who finished the 2020-2021 season on the roster and they must be a free agent going into the offseason. I’m not taking into account any franchise tags that may be applied in the offseason because there’s no way to predict that plus it just ruins the fun. This series is, also, in no way a prediction of how the offseason goes.

I’m not saying that I think that the Browns will pursue, I don’t know, Geoff Swaim from the Tennessee Titans, if he were the focused player then that means I would sign him if I were in charge.

We’ll start with the Jacksonville Jaguars and then move through team by team. Keep in mind that this series assumes that the Browns have not resigned or traded for anybody.
