Jacksonville Jaguars – Sidney Jones, CB

The Jacksonville Jaguars have been, and still are, one of the consistent bottom feeders of the AFC and the entire league in general. With the overall solid roster that the Browns have, there are very few players from this Jaguars team that could actually make an impact in Cleveland.

One of those players is Sidney Jones. The cornerback room has been barred with injuries over the past few seasons and have suffered from a lack of quality, that’s the keyword, depth pieces. Jones fills that role perfectly, he could even potentially be a low-end starter in this Browns secondary.

Jones had a career year last season with the Jags, granted he hasn’t had that great of a career so far. When given the opportunity, I think that Jones would be able to play quality minutes, potentially in the slot.

Even if he doesn’t get a ton of playing time, he would be a good young piece to have in the rotation so he could further develop. According to PFF, Jones was one of the better players on the Jags defense, which ranked as one of the worst in the league. Jones still has a lot of upside, he just won’t be one of the guys that see starter-level snaps game in and game out.
