Patrick Mahomes – Kansas City Chiefs

Trade Possibility: Not even when he’s 60

What is there to even write about with this guy? Patrick Mahomes is the combination of Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers. He is the greatest quarterback of all-time, he is the most talented quarterback of all time, he is a sensation.

Ever since his first start back in Week 17 of 2017, it was obvious this dude was the real deal. In 2018, his first full season starting, he took the league by storm. He led the Chiefs to a 12-4 record and was one Dee Ford hand away from going to his first Super Bowl in his first year as a starter. His 5,097 yard and 50 touchdown season blew all expectations out of the water.

In some people’s eyes, he’s already a Hall of Famer. Some people think he’s the GOAT. He is the greatest quarterback that I have ever seen play and it’s not close. If Mahomes has a 20-plus year career like Tom Brady has, he’s winning the same amount of, if not more, rings. It’s year three of the Mahomes-Chiefs dynasty and he’s already being the victim of MVP voter fatigue.

He threw for almost 4,800 yards and 38 touchdowns, went 14-1 as a starter in 2020, and only received two votes for MVP. Mahomes is the definition of a generational talent and we may never see another player as physically gifted as him ever again.
