Lamar Jackson – Baltimore Ravens

Trade Possibility: Might actually be higher than you’d think

The former Heisman Trophy winner, former NFL MVP, and the closest player to Michael Vick since, former Browns legend, Robert Griffin III’s rookie season with Washington. The one and only, Lamar Demeatrice Jackson Jr., aka Lamar Jackson.

There will always be comparisons between Baker Mayfield and Lamar Jackson as they came into the league together at the opposite ends of the first round of the 2018 NFL draft. Jackson has thrived in Baltimore, especially under offensive coordinator Greg Roman, which has included going 31-10 as a starter, including the playoffs, and becoming the second-ever unanimous NFL MVP.

What sets Jackson apart from the other quarterbacks in the league is his rushing ability. We see players like Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Russell Wilson but none of them are on the same tier as Jackson, in terms of rushing ability. His speed and agility are unique to the position and may end up being the quarterback blueprint of the next generation. His passing ability, much like Baker Mayfield’s, is inconsistent and spotty at times but is good enough to consistently keep the Ravens in games, see Week 14.

Lamar will keep the Ravens towards the top of the AFC North for the remainder of his tenure in Baltimore, barring any serious injury.
