Ryan Tannehill – Tennessee Titans

Colin once again goes against Mayfield and says that Ryan Tannehill is the better five-year option. I do agree that Tannehill is very underrated in the league, but I do laugh when Cowherd gives him credit for his defense being crappy. Are you serious? And Mayfield had a great defense behind him?

This one is a tight race in my opinion, and I think Browns fans lean Mayfield and Titan fans would pick Tannehill. The only real downside to Tannehill is he’s only had tremendous success the last season and a half and he has had a dominant run game (like Mayfield). Before coming to Tennessee, he had six mediocre years in Miami. Tannehill is very similar to Mayfield than many may think, he’s just three inches taller.

Kirk Cousins – Minnesota Vikings

Cowherd picks Kirk Cousins over Mayfield in this one but does mention that the race is close, and he is just going with experience. While Cousins has been a very consistent NFL quarterback, he’s the exact replica of Mayfield, except Mayfield is willing to take some chances.

I don’t watch a ton of Minnesota football, but when I do, I see far too many 4-yard passes on third and 10. The Vikings are competitive, but no one believes they can compete for a Super Bowl. And maybe not many believe the Browns can, but if they just improved that defense, I think they would have as good a shot as anybody.
