Carson Wentz – Indianapolis Colts

Okay, Cleveland Browns fans hang with me here. I will agree with Colin, Carson Wentz is the better five-year option than Mayfield. That’s only because of the recent trade to the Colts. In 2018 when Wentz was with Frank Reich, many thought he was on his way to be the MVP of the league until an injury.

While I admit he was awful last season, I think the fresh start is just what he needed, and the Colts will end up with one of the biggest steals in NFL history. Me going with Wentz is no knock-on Mayfield, it is completely that I believe Wentz was misused in Philly and will be out for revenge in 2021.

Jared Goff – Detroit

It’s hard to not feel bad for Jared Goff, and some may wonder if he wouldn’t have hurt his hand last season could he still be in a great situation in Los Angeles. Cowherd picks Mayfield over Goff, and there is no doubt this race is much closer if he stays with the Rams.

Goff has had his struggles, but Sean McVay always found a way to utilize him to the best of his abilities. Now I could see the Lions going down a dark path and eventually tearing back down for a complete rebuilt. This one isn’t close, Mayfield over Goff every day of the week.
