2. Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue

This won’t go over well since fans in the Dawg Pound have become incredibly loyal to Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham, Jr. but the truth is, Cleveland needs to get younger and faster at wide receiver. Landry has been as advertised for this team and given them everything he has, but he’s been struggling with nagging injuries (even if he never misses a game which is a testament to his drive and toughness) as of late and will be 29-years old this coming season — and even a young and healthy Landry wasn’t exactly a burner.

As for OBJ, he has had even more issues with injuries. He missed nine games last season after suffering a torn ACL and has played 16 games just twice in his seven-year career. He’s definitely a guy who can get deep but the health is a concern, and he too is going to be 29 meaning the durability concerns could begin to grow.

For those reasons and more, Cleveland could look to add a speedy wideout with fresh legs, which is what they would get should they land Rondale Moore out of Purdue in a trade-down scenario. Moore is simply electric and can take it to the house on any given play. He’s listed at just 5-foot-9 and 175-pounds but he can flat-out fly and will line up out wide, in the slot, and in the backfield.

Of course, there are question marks as well — the biggest being in regards to injuries for him as well. It might be a tough sell for the Browns considering they just had to endure a lot of injuries this past season but Moore would not only work well with their current wide receiver corps (yes, they could draft a wideout early and that doesn’t mean they hate OBJ and Landry) but if he can get right health-wise, he would be a game-changer for them.
