5. Dalvin Tomlinson – New York Giants – 27

Alabama defenders are usually a pretty safe bet (provided they don’t have medical issues), and Dalvin Tomlinson has been one of the most durable and effective nose tackles in the game since being drafted in 2017. It remains to be seen whether the Browns would invest a significant amount of capital into a run-stopping one-tech, especially when they already have Billings, but Tomlinson will be a stalwart in whichever defense he plays in next.

4. Mike Pennel – Kansas City Chiefs – 29

Pennel is a quality run defender and would provide some elite size at 6-3, 332 pounds. He’s a lower-cost option, but the Browns will need to look long and hard at that price bracket, as defensive coordinator Joe Woods routinely plays his backup tackles over 20 snaps per game.

3. Hassan Ridgeway – Philadelphia Eagles – 26

A moderately effective backup over his first five seasons, Ridgeway dealt with injuries in 2020 that ended his campaign after seven weeks. He’s an explosive player who fits the physical profile that the Browns seem to be looking for. In a rotational role, he could have a nice impact for this team.
