6. Philadelphia Eagles – Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida

A lot of folks have a tight end, Kyle Pitts, as the second most talented player in this year’s draft. Unfortunately, he is in a position that is lower on the tandem pole which will allow him to slide to the Eagles at number six.

The Eagles are desperate for a pass catcher, and with Smith off the board already Pitts will be the perfect fit. Remember, Zach Ertz is another player that is unlikely to return to the team next year because of salary-cap concerns.

Pitts is a nightmare matchup and has the frame of an NFL tight end, but the skillset and speed of a wide receiver. While the Eagles will want a wide receiver, Pitts is the perfect fit.

7. Detroit Lions – Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU

Perhaps one of the best teams in College Football history was the 2019 LSU Tigers. Joe Burrow was a huge piece of that, but Ja’Marr Chase was another huge part at wide receiver. After getting a king’s ransom for Matthew Stafford, expect the Lions to give Jared Goff a year to prove himself before trying to draft a quarterback.

If things don’t work out in 2021, the Lions will have a ton of assets to get a quarterback in the 2022 draft. What’s another year of rebuilding anyway Lions fans?

With Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones likely moving on, the Lions need to get help for Goff. Jaylen Waddle may be tempting, but Chase appears to be the more polished player and not just all speed.
