26th Overall – Azeez Ojulari, Georgia

The Cleveland Browns hold the 26th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, their latest pick since 2017 when the team drafted Miami tight end David Njoku. With how the Browns performed in 2020, they seemingly don’t have a choice but to select a player on the defensive side of the ball in the first round this year.

From what I’ve seen, this is a very deep class for edge rushers. Nobody seems to know where exactly these players might land because of the weird college football season we had so these are rough estimates of where these players might end up.

With the 26th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns could select Azeez Ojulari out of Georgia. With players such as Kwitty Paye from Michigan, Gregory Rousseau from Miami, and even Jaelan Phillips from Miami off the board, the Browns select the next best edge rusher in the draft in Ojulari. He’s an every down edge rusher that has lined up in both the two and three-point stances against the best of the best in the SEC.

He’s extremely quick off the edge and has great hand movement for such a young player. His body control is unmatched, his ability to twist and change direction to outmaneuver offensive linemen and his size compliments that. While a little undersized, his explosiveness and technique speak volumes to the player that he is. He should be a very good player at the next level and is one of my favorite picks for the Browns.
