3. Kenny Golladay, Wide Receiver

This one might not seem like a huge need at first, but the Cleveland Browns can’t just watch someone with the talent of Kenny Golladay hit the open market and not even ask what it would take to land him. Sure, they have Odell Beckham, Jr. and Jarvis Landry at the position but what they don’t have is a 6-foot-4, 214-pound wideout such as Golladay who also has enough speed to beat defenders deep as well as the ability to win the contested jump ball the way he can.

A former third-round pick out of Northern Illinois, Golladay had back-to-back seasons with 1,000-plus yards through the air for the Detroit Lions with his best campaign coming in 2019. That year, Golladay had 65 receptions for 1,190 yards (an average of 18.3 per catch) and 11 touchdowns. His ability to get deep was no fluke either, as he averages nearly 17-yards per catch in his four-year career — which isn’t the norm for a player so large.

There are concerns though as Golladay missed 11 games this past season, which could actually help the Browns land him on a prove-it-deal. Speaking of contracts, there would need to be some concessions made with another certain receiver in Cleveland, but if the money could work, Golladay would surely make them better — and that should always be explored.
