2. Ryan Kerrigan – Defensive End

Although the Browns added Takk McKinley, the belief is still that the Browns will want to add another edge rusher before the start of the 2021 season. The question is, will they draft one, or will they sign one in free agency?

With pick no. 26 in 2021, the Browns will likely have limited options in the first round as the pass-rushing class is weak on elite talents. While there will be plenty of options in the later round, those players will be less likely to contribute in year one.

For some reason, Ryan Kerrigan, the 10-year veteran is getting no love and could be a perfect fit for the Browns. This is a guy who has 95.5 career sacks and still has plenty of gas in the tank. Not only that, he could come at an extreme discount with some big names still on the market.

Even though Kerrigan only has 11 total sacks the last two seasons, he was apart of one of the most dominant defensive lines in the NFL. His snap total has gone down as the Washington Football team has four first-round picks on the squad.

Kerrigan and McKinley will be the perfect duo alongside Myles Garrett and don’t be shocked if Kerrigan ended up with 8-10 sacks in 2021. A one or two-year deal with Kerrigan for $5 or 6 million per year could make a lot of sense for the Browns.
