Do the Cleveland Browns really have the NFL’s best roster?

Green Bay Packers
RB – Great
Aaron Jones just signed a shiny new extension and is backed up by 2020 second-round pick A.J. Dillon. Jones is a great all-around back and Dillon is an explosive between-the-tackles thumper.
WR – Good
Davante Adams just might be the best receiver in the NFL. Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling are decent players, but Green Bay has refused to invest in the position aside from Adams, which is a travesty considering they have one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time nearing the end of his career.
TE – Good
Robert Tonyan broke out to the tune of 668 yards and 12 touchdowns over the season, and Marcedes Lewis is still a quality in-line blocker even at the age of 36.
OL – Good
David Bakhtiari is one of the best tackles in the league, and Elgton Jenkins can seemingly play all five spots well. Lucas Patrick and Billy Turner are both decent, but the departures of Rick Wagner and Corey Linsley create some sizeable holes in one of the NFL’s best units.
DT – Good
Kenny Clark is great. Dean Lowry, Kingsley Keke, and Tyler Lancaster are all varying degrees of fine. This position group could use a top-100 draft pick this year.
EDGE – Great
Za’Darius Smith and Preston Smith form one of the top EDGE duos in the league, and Rashan Gary took a step towards realizing his massive potential last season.
LB – Poor
None of Krys Barnes, Kamal Martin, Ty Summers, or Oren Burks inspires much confidence, but if you’re going to have a weak position group, it should be linebacker.
CB – Good
Jaire Alexander is one of the best cover corners in the league, but he doesn’t have a lot of help. Chandon Sullivan, Kevin King, and Josh Jackson leave much to be desired.
S – Great
Adrian Amos is fantastic, and Darnell Savage has explosiveness and range in droves. This group could stand to add some depth.
