Round 3, Pick 91: Andre Cisco, S, Syracuse

One Syracuse defensive back in the 2021 NFL Draft simply isn’t enough.

After taking Ifeatu Melifonwu with their second pick in this mock draft, Cleveland takes one of his former teammates in Andre Cisco. Listed at 6-foot and 203-pounds, Cisco is an excellent deep coverage safety which would give the Browns someone who is a perfect fit across from free-agent addition John Johnson III.

As far as his talent is concerned, Cisco should go much higher than this but there are concerns due to some injury history. Still, the Browns feel good gambling on him since he checks off every box when it comes to being a top-tier starter at the next level.

Round 4, Pick 110: Victor Dimukeje, EDGE, Duke

This selection is made with the future in mind. Right now, the Browns have Myles Garrett, Jadeveon Clowney, Takk McKinley, Curtis Weaver, and Porter Gustin at defensive end. That gives them three first-round picks (two of which were No. 1 overall) at the position and two younger players with upside.

They’re loaded this season as long as everyone stays healthy but the problem is, Clowney and McKinley were both added on just a one-year deal. That means the Browns need someone waiting in the wings in case they don’t return in 2022.

With that in mind, Cleveland takes Victor Dimukeje from Duke at No. 110. A four-year starter for the Blue Devils, Dimukeje has all the tools to be a starter down the road. And he would have some great veterans to learn from here which could help speed up his development.
