3. Wyatt Teller gets contract extension

The Cleveland Browns had one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL during the 2019 season. However, they still were able to land someone that year who was able to help turn things around this past season.

Cleveland traded for Wyatt Teller who was deep on the Buffalo Bills bench and he was one of the lone bright spots for the Browns that season. His play gave them hope that they were going to be fine at right guard and they turned to him as the starter for 2020.

Not only did Teller lock that job down, but he was a Second-Team All-Pro as well for his work. He even finished as the highest-graded guard in the league.

The only issue now is that Teller is entering the final season of his rookie deal. With that being the case, Cleveland could look to lock him up long-term. And doing so in 2021 would probably be a wise move on their part.

Teller’s performance was fantastic but he’s still only had one huge season under his belt, so the Browns could end up getting him for an affordable price right now. If they did wait, he could end up having another stellar season which would then make him one of the higher-paid guards in the NFL.

He would surely be worth it, but then the Browns might have to make some moves to figure out the financing. Doing all that now would only make things easier going forward and this prediction is that Andrew Berry gets that done.
