Peter Schrager of Good Morning Football went all-in on Cleveland Browns linebacker, Jeremiah Owusu-Koromoah, going as far as to say there could be a ‘JOK 10’ documentary one day

The Cleveland Browns have been getting non-stop praise for their work in the 2021 NFL Draft and that hasn’t stopped even though we are nearly two weeks removed from the event.

In fact, Peter Schrager of Good Morning Football on the NFL Network went all-in on the hype train for one of their top picks — Jeremiah Owusu-Koromoah out of Notre Dame.

Cleveland landed JOK at pick No. 52 and while they had to trade up to secure his services there, Schrager is counted among the many who believe this was a steak. Schrager mentioned that “everyone thought he would go top-20” and it was unbelievable he would slip into the 50s.

Arguably the most interesting thing that Schrager talked about was how there could be a potential documentary one day looking back at how many people passed on Owusu-Koromoah. He referred to “The Brady 6” which is the six quarterbacks taken before Tom Brad who couldn’t hold a candle to the success Brady had.

Schrager then showed 10 defensive players (all EDGE and linebackers) which included Micah Parsons (No. 12 to Dallas), Zaven Collins (No. 16 to Arizona), and Jamin Davis (No. 19 to Washington) as prospects that could be passed by JOK as professionals.

The other names on the list might not be as great of comparables. Guys such as Kwity Paye, Payton Turner, and Gregory Rousseau are different style defenders.

Still, there were three linebackers taken in Round 1 that JOK could realistically be better than — and that could happen very quickly. Count Peter Schrager as one who could see that coming to fruition.
