Week 8 vs. Pittsburgh – Oct. 31

After 7 weeks, the Browns will finally face an AFC North opponent. They will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in their third straight road game. While having a 5-2 record at this point is great, this game will be one of the most important of the year. A winnable game, that will give them a head start in the division.

I expect the Browns to roll once again and start 1-0 in the division and have a three-game winning streak at home. The Steelers will be competitive because they have a great coach and a great culture, but that won’t be enough to steal a win in Cleveland.

Prediction: 24-20 Browns.

Week 9 @ Cincinnati – Nov. 7

This will be one of the more interesting games. The Cincinnati Bengals who have always struggled to spend money, have added a few nice pieces in free agency and have a franchise quarterback in Joe Burrow.

While this game will be no cakewalk, let’s not forget how much better the Browns are as well.  Burrow won’t be throwing over Andrew Sendejo and Karl Joseph anymore. The pass rush will be disruptive, and the Bengal’s defense will still not be up to the task of stopping the Browns.

Prediction: 27-20 Browns
