Pittsburgh Steelers:

While the Ravens have a tough schedule, the Pittsburgh Steelers were dealt the gauntlet. With a first-place schedule, they have the Bills, Chiefs, and Titans on their schedule. Let’s not forget, the Steelers appear to be on the decline with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger another year older.

Pittsburgh was able to keep JuJu Smith-Schuster, but they lost guys like Bud Dupree, Alejandro Villanueva, Matt Feiler, and Mike Hilton. Mike Tomlin is a great coach but certainly has his work cut out for him in 2021.

The Steelers start off with the Bills, Raiders, Bengals, and Packers. Truthfully, a best-case scenario here is two wins, and it wouldn’t be shocking to only see one.

They then move on to play the Broncos, Seahawks, Browns, and Bears. While they could squeak out three wins, I just don’t see it happening and see 2 being a much more realistic outcome.

Once again, the schedule isn’t any better as they move on to the Lions, Chargers, Bengals, and Ravens.  Another four-game block where 2-2 seems very likely.

Next comes the gauntlet where they face the Vikings, Titans, Chiefs, Browns, and Ravens to close the season. With a worn-out Big Ben, this could be a 1 game block of games, as they finish the season like 2020.

Roethlisberger will go down as one of the better NFL quarterbacks in history, but this is a scenario where he is trying to give it a go one extra year. This could easily be a 7-10 third place in the AFC North season for the Steelers, because of a tough schedule and a weak roster.
