3 biggest holes on the 2021 Cleveland Browns roster

Linebacker
Some people don’t agree with this opinion, but I still believe linebackers matter a whole lot. While the Browns have drafted linebackers the last two years and signed a few free agents, they have yet to go get the start they need.
I know a $13 million per year linebacker is a luxury, but I’m tired of watching our group get picked on year after year. For too long it has been a position with just a body in it and constantly overlooked.
I will say, the crew this year is the best they have had in a while. I’m very excited about the contribution of Anthony Walker and believe Jacob Phillips and Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah could both be fantastic. They also have some nice depth with Mack Wilson and Sione Takitaki.
However, there is always a chance that these young guys won’t pan out, and that Walker was only a stat sheet stuffer because he was next to the best linebacker in football, Darius Leonard the last few years.
I am happy with what the organization has done this offseason, but I still think there is a cause for concern. While I’m not ready to put defensive tackle as a hole on the roster, it certainly could be weaker than last year, which only puts a bigger need on skilled linebackers.
This core of guys could very well be good enough for the Browns to win a championship, but we can’t allow teams to just run at will or dump the ball to a running back every time they need 5 yards on third down. This could be a make-it or break-it position.
