3.  Greedy Williams

Just two drafts ago, the Cleveland Browns felt like they got a seal in round two as LSU cornerback, Greedy Williams, fell to them at pick No. 46. Why did Williams fall so far as many projected him as a first-round talent? Injuries.

And unfortunately, injuries have continued to follow him to the NFL. After a strong rookie campaign where he started 12 games, he missed the entire 2020 season with a shoulder injury. An injury we would later find out has to do with a nerve, and there is a real concern it will never be the same.

While this is somewhat concerning, look for Williams to really come on strong this season. The latest reports are the shoulder is healing, and there was a cryptic tweet that he was getting healthier and healthier during the playoffs last season.

With first-round 2021 draft pick, Greg Newsome now on the roster, look for the competitive side of Williams to really shine. After a full year to recover and let his body rest look for Williams to win the second corner position and play very well.

This will be a huge win/win for the Browns. They have two more years of Williams on a rookie contract to see if he can live up to expectations, and if he continues to face injuries, Newsome will be able to step in and play at an extremely high level.

Prediction: Williams starts in 16 games (including playoffs) and becomes the second shut-down cornerback the Browns need desperately.
