Yards Per Target

"Brandin Cooks: 9.3 Mike Evans: 8.8 Martavis Bryant: 8.7 Odell Beckham Jr: 8.6 Sammy Watkins: 8.5 John Brown: 8 Cody Latimer: 7.9 Jordan Matthews & Davante Adams: 7.8 TJ Jones & Allen Robinson: 7.7"

Brandin Cooks snags the top spot on this list, further showing how he is pretty underrated. Cooks has produced efficiently at every stop so far in his NFL career and hasn’t really shown any signs of slowing down.

Martavis Bryant was a good deep threat in the NFL and could’ve had a very long NFL career if it wasn’t for his off-the-field issues. He is just one of many NFL players who have thrown away their careers due to substance abuse, which is just really sad to see.

Martavis Bryant is currently playing in the indoor football league as a member of the Massachusetts Pirates. The rest of the top of this list are guys that you would expect to really be there. Mike Evans has been the best deep threat in the NFL not named Tyreek Hill these past few seasons, Odell has been a hall of fame caliber talent when healthy, and Sammy Watkins has also been another good deep threat for the few teams he has bounced around to.

Watkins, despite all of the hype coming out of college, really hasn’t been a top-tier receiver so far in the NFL. With only one 1,000 yard receiving season underneath his belt, he would be labeled by a bust by some. He has, however, settled into a nice role with the Kansas City Chiefs, and is still currently in the NFL.

The Cleveland Browns were smart to pass on Sammy Watkins and trade the pick to take him away, it’s just a shame they weren’t able to do anything with the picks they got in return.
