Cleveland Browns: 3 Takeaways from minicamp practices

3. Returning Health
Even though the Cleveland Browns were able to manage so much success last season, they dealt with so much adversity from injuries. Grant Delpit, Greedy Williams, Odell Beckham, and Chris Hubbard all faced season-ending injuries, as well as many important guys missing time throughout the year.
The most exciting news, the return of Beckham after tearing his ACL on October 25, 2020. Kevin Stefanski said:
"“He looked good to me,” Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said on Zoom after practice. “He did some individual drills. He did routes on air. He’s still progressing through. I think he’s seven- or eight-months post-ACL surgery, and he looks a lot different than I did seven- or eight-months post-ACL.”"
Not only has Beckham returned to the field, but you are seeing glimpses of the elite athleticism and speed that fans have seen in the past. After a long stretch of injury-riddled seasons, Beckham needs to have a breakout year.
While Hubbard is still recovering from a late-season Achilles tear, both Delpit and Williams have been active participants as well early in camp. Both were slated to be starters for the 2020 season and have a great shot again in 2021 if they stay healthy.
Injuries are a part of the game, but let’s hope the Browns have better luck in 2021.
