2. Dynamic Duo looks Legit

The addition of Jadeveon Clowney raised a lot of red flags to some Browns fans. For one, Clowney had the chance to join the Browns last season, and there were many reports that they offered him the most money, and he still went to the Tennessee Titans. Not a huge deal, but there’s a lot of pride in Cleveland and I can see that rubbing some the wrong way.

Two, Clowney has not had the production that many expect, and he continues to face injuries. It’s a concern, the bottom line is, Clowney is not a number one pass rusher. When he was in Houston with J.J. Watt, he was extremely effective.

Luckily for Browns fans, one of the biggest takeaways in just three days of minicamp is that Clowney and Garrett have really hit it off. Not only are they a major threat on the field, but they have also quickly bonded and became great friends.

Clowney even mentioned in an interview that it took him eight years to finally find someone in the NFL that was so similar to him. He also mentioned that it was a natural fit in Cleveland and in just a few short days, he already feels the family mentality.

Even though the injuries will still be a concern, sometimes all a guy needs is a fresh start. Clowney may get just that in Cleveland, and alongside Garrett, you may see his best work yet in 2021.
