Tommy Togiai

Tommy Togiai is a 6-foot-1 300 pound rookie out of The Ohio State University taken in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Togiai was a four-star recruit that played on a highly talented line during his three-year stint in Columbus.

Togiai showed out in his pro day cranking out 40 reps on the bench press, so strength is not a concern. However, when Cleveland general manager Andrew Berry was asked if that was a factor in drafting Togiai, well, he had something else to say.

Berry gave us what every Browns fan wants to hear and proof that Togiai is someone to watch heading into camp. The young man showed quickness and power along with production last year as a Buckeye. In seven games for the scarlet and grey, Togiai had 23 total tackles, 4.5 of those for a loss, three sacks, and a forced fumble.

All Togiai has done since being drafted out of Columbus is impress at camp and in the locker room. Togiai has the tools to impact and push for regular time or a starting role long before expected. Keep an eye on this young defensive tackle when training camp rolls around as he could surprise.
