2. He will be one of two Cleveland Browns players to rush for over 1,000 yards

It is hard to debate the fact that the Browns boast the best running back tandem in the NFL with Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. The duo is elite and two of the biggest reasons the Browns had so much success in 2020.

While they came up short last season of both backs rushing for over 1,000 yards, the added 17th game will put both men in the 1,000-yard plateau.

Should the dynamic duo be successful in this bold prediction, they will become the eighth pair of teammates and second Browns teammates to achieve the feat.

The last NFL duo to do so was quarterback Lamar Jackson and running back Mark Ingram back in 2019. The last running back tandem to do so was Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams in 2009.

Earnest Byner and Kevin Mack both rushed for over 1,000 yards for the Browns back in 1985.

In 12 games in 2020, Chubb rushed 190 times for 1,067 yards with 12 touchdowns. Hunt played in all 16 games, rushing 198 times for 841 yards and six touchdowns, while also catching five touchdown passes. Had Chubb not missed those four games with a knee injury, his numbers likely would have been higher.

The fact that these two share a backfield ultimately helps them remain fresh, which is more evident for Chubb who averages an insane 10 yards per carry in the fourth quarter of games.

When speaking at his youth football camp last week, Hunt said he thinks the two can both rush for over 1,000 yards in 2021.

"“I believed it was possible last year, too, but some things happened,” Hunt said, via Dan Labbe of Cleveland.com. “We’ll learn from it and get better and hopefully continue to put in good work this year.”"

As a bonus bold prediction, Chubb will yet again eclipse double-digit touchdowns.
