2. DPJ asserts himself as WR3

Rashard Higgins is a very talented route runner and he has a great rapport with quarterback Baker Mayfield. He even stepped up in 2020 when Odell Beckham, Jr. went down with a torn ACL and finished the season with 37 receptions for 599 yards with four touchdowns. Now, he returns for another campaign after signing a one-year deal in the offseason.

It’s assumed that this means he will be the third receiver after OBJ and Jarvis Landry, but that’s not set in stone. Not only do the Browns have rookie Anthony Schwartz, who is a burner, but there’s also Donovan Peoples-Jones who played very well as a rookie. The sixth-round pick had 21.7 yards per reception, finishing with 304 yards and two touchdowns on 12 catches.

He made the most of his limited role and even had a game-winning touchdown in Week 7 against the Cincinnati Bengals. A former five-star recruit, he never truly developed at Michigan but showed off his talent last season in Cleveland.

With a full year under his belt, and a normal offseason to prepare for the year, DPJ is a player to watch in 2021. This second bold prediction is that he not only looks to be a more refined player but also makes huge strides as he asserts himself as the No. 3 wideout on the team.
