4 most talented Cleveland Browns that won’t make the roster

No. 2 – D’Ernest Johnson, Running Back
If you are a running back in the NFL, the Cleveland Browns are one of the worst rosters to be on. The reason for that being that they have the best duo in the league right now with Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt.
D’Ernest Johnson has been the third-string running back the last two seasons, but it looks like his time in Cleveland could be coming to an end.
When the Browns drafted Demetric Felton in the sixth round this year, you knew it would be an uphill battle for Johnson, and Felton has done nothing but blow expectations out of the water. The former receiver can split out wide and is extremely slippery running between the tackles.
It will be interesting to see how many at the position the Browns keep. I find it hard to find a scenario where they keep more than three, but even if they kept four, John Kelly has been another standout at the running back position.
There are typically a ton of running backs that look great in the preseason, so it’s tough to say what his market will look like for a new team, but it’s hard to think he won’t find a home before the end of the season. Johnson could be in a nice situation if an injury to a team competing for a Super Bowl happened later in the season.
