No. 2 – Taven Bryan, Defensive Tackle

One of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ biggest misses was their 2018 first-round pick on Taven Bryan, the defensive tackle out of Florida. The 29th overall pick has played in every game since being drafted but has struggled to make an impact on the field.

This move isn’t one that is going to save the Jags a ton of cap space but will at least open a roster spot for a younger guy as they continue to rebuild from the ground up.

Why should the Cleveland Browns take a chance on Bryan? This could be a situation where the fit just isn’t right and a guy needs a fresh start. The Browns could sign him for next to nothing and end up with a first-round talent player.

The worst case is he competes as a backup and provides better depth for the Browns at the position. Defensive tackle was a big question mark coming into the season, but so far guys have played really well. Sheldon Day has been a pleasant surprise while Andrew Billings and Malik Jackson continue to prove they will be the starters.

In this scenario, the Browns will have to let go of a young player with some promise but could be rewarded with an extremely talented player. This may be a bit risky for Berry but could make a lot of sense.
