Suddenly, the Cleveland Browns have one of the deepest wide receiving corps in all of the NFL, and while it might not be as stout as the running back room, they have some tough decisions to make here as well.

Breaking it down, there are four players who seem as though they won’t be touched. Odell Beckham, Jr., Jarvis Landry, Donovan Peoples-Jones, and rookie third-round pick Anthony Schwartz are all locks to make the team.

Initially, I had KhaDarel Hodge as the odd man out and the Browns keeping five wide receivers. I went back last night and changed this. I don’t see how the team can part ways with KhaDarel Hodge. He is a playmaker and always seems to make big-time plays. Cleveland will also be considering special teams, which is an area KhaDarel Hodge thrives — and he forces them to keep a sixth wide receiver.

Odell Beckham is coming off a torn ACL and Schwartz has hardly seen the field at all in practice as a rookie. That means the Browns keep Higgins and Hodge, both reliable options who Mayfield trusts. And trust is huge when it comes to the passing game.
