Cleveland Browns Tight Ends (4)

Austin Hooper
David Njoku
Harrison Bryant
Jordan Franks

Austin Hooper and David Njoku will be the leaders of the tight end room this season for the Cleveland Browns. David Njoku, a former first-round pick, had a phenomenal camp and seems ready to break out in a tight end friendly system.

Harrison Bryant is headed into his sophomore season and is expected to take a nice leap this season. Last year, Bryant had 24 catches for 248 yards and 3 touchdowns. However, he did turn the ball over a couple of times and is looking to learn from that.

At the beginning of training camp, it would have been a pretty easy decision for the Browns to keep Stephen Carlson as the team’s fourth tight end. These plans quickly got scratched when he suffered a season-ending knee injury in the Browns’ first preseason game in Jacksonville.

Fullback Johnny Stanton took some reps at tight end against the New York Giants and the Browns just brought back Kyle Markway from the Los Angeles Rams for his second stint with the team. But Jordan Franks seems like the most likely guy to be in the fourth tight-end slot.
