Week 4 – Browns at Vikings

After starting the season 2-1, the Cleveland Browns will go back to back vs. NFC North opponents as they travel to Minnesota. This will be a difficult one as Stefanski faces his old team, but don’t think he won’t have them prepared.

This is a 50/50 game, and to be a playoff-caliber team you must win more than you lose of these in a season. I look for the Browns to rally behind Stefanski and get this win for him. It will be a ground and pound game that likely comes down to the last possession, but the Browns come away with a big road win to move to 3-1.

Score – Browns 31, Vikings 28
Current record 3-1

Week 5 – Browns at Chargers

After a hot start, the Browns will travel out west to face one of the hottest quarterbacks in the league last year, Justin Herbert. I’ll be honest, this seems like a major letdown game in my opinion. A 3-1 start and a big week of travel out west.

I expect this to be the one game the Browns don’t look sharp and one that will get away from them. The big question will be, will it cost them at the end of the season?

Score – Chargers 31, Browns 17
Current record 3-2

Week 6 – Cardinals at Browns

The Cardinals will be an interesting team this year. With a quarterback and head coach having a lot of pressure to get over the hump, and a lot of new shiny toys on each side of the ball. Like the Browns the prior week, look for the Cardinals to struggle in Cleveland.

After a poor outing the week before, Stefanski will have this team more than ready and they will really play well. Expect the defense to fly around the field and a lot of big holes for Nick Chubb to run through. This will be the rebound the team desperately needed taking them to 4-2 on the season.

Score – Browns 34, Cardinals 20
Current record 4-2
