3 reasons Cleveland Browns defense can win against Chiefs

Cleveland Browns Veterans return
As I mentioned earlier, the Browns have added several new players on the defense. Many of these players are experienced veterans that have played a lot in the league and know how to win. For a young team like Cleveland, gaining those veteran voices this off season will mean a lot by season’s end.
The secondary of the defense has always been the weak link of the Browns. Not anymore. By the Browns bringing in safety Joe Johnson III and cornerback Troy Hill, both whom played last year with the LA Rams, their secondary gained a wealth of experience and knowledge. You add in the linebacker Anthony Walker, who will help direct the defense this season and you have a real nice mix of young and old and old isn’t bad when you’re saying your elder is 29 years old like Troy Hill.
The defensive line not only will have Garrett and Clowney but they also bring in players like defensive tackles Malik Jackson and Takk Mckinley who have both experienced success with their previous teams and the playoffs. Jackson played in a Super Bowl while playing for the Philadelphia Eagles.
So between that experience of the veterans, the speed upgrades and our new bookends on the line, the Browns will have an excellent opportunity to go 1-0 for the week, an idea that coach Stefanski has this team buying in to. It got this team to 11-5 a year ago and these new pluses on the defense will only make reaching their next goal of a Super Bowl even more realistic.
