No. 3 – Anthony Walker, Linebacker

It’s tough nowadays to say that a linebacker will have a huge impact on a game. The NFL is so pass-heavy now that no one even wants to focus on the run game. However, I think Anthony Walker can bring something special to the Cleveland Browns.

Not only will he be a tremendous leader in the locker room, but he is also a great athlete who is tremendous on run defense, especially moving side to side. He has had struggles in the passing game but continues to get better every snap he is on the field.

Walker will be the field general with the green dot, and he will oversee keeping the ship headed in the right direction. His energy will not only get the crowd fired up, but it will make others better around him.

When young guys see how hard Walker works to get better, it will become contagious and can have a lasting effect on the culture of the entire organization.

Don’t expect Walker to get all-pro honors because he doesn’t have the name recognition, but you can expect him to have 120-plus tackles as well as a few forced turnovers, and being a major reason, the Browns defense is top five in the league.
