Where have your favorite Cleveland Browns preseason stars ended up?
Cleveland Browns players who have signed with other NFL practice squads
Not that many players from the Browns summer camp wound up with other teams. You would think from the hype that everyone on the roster was a Pro Bowl candidate and would be immediately snapped up by other teams. Not so.
Kyle Lauletta, 26, quarterback, is on the practice squad of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Lauletta did some good things for the Browns and looks like he should be able to run the team in the absence of the first-string quarterback. Remember, the Brown can go back and get him if they want him until such time as Jacksonville promotes him to their 53-player roster.
Defensive tackle Marvin Wilson, 23 went to the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad. The press made a big deal about the fact that Wilson was paid a bonus by the Browns, $192,000 guaranteed.
But since he can be recalled by the Browns or any of 32 teams, it does not matter that much which practice squad he is on, other than the fact that he is getting additional exposure to the Eagles system. It’s a good move for him.
Robert Jackson,27, cornerback is now with the Las Vegas practice squad.
