No. 2 reason Cleveland Browns shouldn’t panic – This offense is still good

Although things didn’t end the way the team wanted, the Cleveland Browns offense is good. Nick Chubb is the hardest runner in the NFL, he is going to fumble occasionally. This wasn’t a scenario of him being lazy, a guy just got his helmet on the ball and there was nothing he could do.

The interception by Baker Mayfield at the end, he was trying to airmail that after buying some time. He got hit at the exact wrong time, and the ball ended up way short. Looking back, he should’ve taken the sack, but if he does what he wants there, he saves a timeout.

Even with Jedrick Wills leaving the game, the offense ran the ball extremely well, and Mayfield looked extremely accurate. Mayfield completed 75 percent of his passes for 321 yards, we will take that every single week.

Kevin Stefanski continues to prove he is a mastermind on the offensive side of the ball. So many times, it looked like he was in the defensive huddle. Perhaps the best call of the game was the screen pass on the last drive to get the Browns rolling and near midfield.

Chris Hubbard will have to continue to get better if he is going to be the long-term left tackle. He filled in nicely for the injured Wills, but certainly got beat on a couple of plays the came back to haunt the Browns offense.

The one play you want back (besides the obvious turnover plays)? The rookie, Anthony Schwartz played a fantastic game, but you’d love to see him make that play on third down on the next to last drive of the game.
