Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt are Cleveland Browns best weapons

The difference-maker in the first part of the game against Los Angeles on Sunday was running back Nick Chubb — who was simply outstanding. After bulldozing for 68 first-half yards, Chubb finally broke one for a 52-yard touchdown. It was a thing of beauty as he rumbled up the right sideline to take it in for six.

The Chargers were near the bottom in the league in giving up running yardage and that certainly was apparent in this game as Chubb and Browns back Kareem Hunt had several big chuck plays where they were gaining 8, 9 or 10 yard runs.

Hunt scored two touchdowns on the afternoon and finished with 61 yards on 12 carries. Chubb finished the game carrying the ball 21 times for a nice 161 yards.

Coach Stefanski refusing to use Chubb late in the game and help secure the Browns victory when they were winning at the time 42-41 with just over three minutes to play will be a discussion point this next week. It’s concerning that Stefanski still doesn’t seem to grasp what type of runner that Chubb is especially in this game where Chubb was unstoppable.
