Cleveland Browns Most Valuable Player of the Quarter – Myles Garrett

As previously mentioned, Myles Garrett is the best player on the Browns and by far the most valuable player on the team. What he’s done this season alone is somewhat reminiscent of J.J. Watt’s 2014 season where he almost won the MVP award.

Garrett is on pace to break the NFL’s single-season sack record which would absolutely earn him the aforementioned Defensive Player of the Year award but could very well win him the Most Valuable Player award as well.

If Garrett is the best player on a top team in the NFL he’s got a good chance of winning it at the end of the year. For now, he’s hands down the MVP of the Browns for the first quarter and there isn’t really an argument for any other player.

The impact he has on the defense and as the team as a whole is unmatched and his ability to make plays is just so entertaining to watch. He’s been the building block of the team and has helped the defense tremendously.

It’s usually hard to justify giving a defensive player the MVP honors but Garrett has outperformed all expectations and been leagues better than anyone else on this Cleveland Browns team. Sorry to all the Baker Mayfield fans but he just hasn’t played up to par. Nick Chubb would be the next best option but Garrett has been simply unstoppable. He leaves it all on the field every week and never fails to impress.

Flash has lived up to his nickname as he’s been all over the field, dominating the opposition. Myles Garrett has been the unquestionable, true, Most Valuable Player for the Browns for the first five weeks which has earned him this distinction.
